Cyan is a big green idea made up of small, affordable studios and condominiums (yeah, we call them condos). Well-designed urban homes with small carbon footprints for real people. People who want to save this great blue planet by living better. Those of us who don’t want our organic tee-shirt looking like a burlap sack, for recycled furniture to cost more than college tuition, or for slow food to taste like a sautéed pair of galoshes. Cyan means if living green is hard, you’re doing it wrong. Sustainability and quality of life don’t have to be mutually exclusive—your home is your sanctum, historic urban parks are your backyard, and downtown Portland is your playground.
